A regional blood center contracted Cost Wise Services to audit their cellular invoices. The client was no longer under contract but still receiving contract pricing. They feared that the vendor would increase their pricing but felt that the current contract pricing was reasonable. Their goal was to keep the invoice from increasing and to secure the pricing with a new contract. When Cost Wise Services reviewed the billing and usage, it was discovered that the past contract was not cost effective. Cost Wise Services negotiated a new contract with the current vendor and eliminated features that were no longer needed. Cost Wise Services also did a detailed analysis of the top users. In doing this, usage abuse was uncovered and reported. All of these services rendered a monthly savings of 28%. Cost Wise Services only charged the client approximately two months of the savings total. What does this mean? The client had a full return on the investment by the third month. If one knows that most companies in this industry charge up to 50% for 12 months, they will see that Cost Wise Services is different.
